Coming from this vastly improved estate, this wine offers rich tannins, concentration, power and density. Blackberry flavors add a more immediately approachable side to this wine that should be ready to drink from 2024. Roger Voss.

The nose is fresh and elegant. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry and slight notes of fresh/ripe strawberry associated with hints of blueberry, slight notes of licorice as well as a discreet hint of violet and a hint of racy minerality. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful minerality as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe cassis and slight notes of raspberry associated with discreet hints of chocolate, cassis cream as well as slight notes of racy minerality and a discreet hint of salinity on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence with a very discreet hint of saline minerality and cacao/bitter dark chocolate on the finish.
