Tasting notes

The Charlemagne vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger are the base of this single-vineyard Chardonnay wine. It is still a little young, but its potential is considerable. Textured, mineral and with a steely edge, this structured wine will take time.

Very leesy and lemony, almost funky yet complex, with lime peel, linden tree and a floral whiff. Quince flavor on the palate with quite full body, zesty acidity and silky mousse. Tight-knit structure to the long aftertaste. Pastry notes on the finish. Almost phenolic yet polished at the end. Drink or hold.
