Quite deeply colored. Ripe aromas of black berry liqueur, earth, spice and plenty of sauvage nuances that are trimmed in enough wood toast to make for a potent nose. The powerful, intense and very serious big-bodied flavors possess plenty of muscle and punch before terminating in an explosively long and palate coating finish. This brooding yet velvety effort is borderline painfully intense and will require an extended stay in the cellar before it will be completely ready.
