Tasting notes

Cool, pure and very pretty aromas are comprised by notes of freshly sliced green apple, petrol and a blend of spice scents. There is both fine richness and volume to the solidly concentrated and intensely mineral-driven middleweight plus flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere, balanced and sleek finale. This is really quite classy and while better depth would be nice, more should almost certainly develop if given a chance.

We have an outstanding selection of Chateau de la Maltroye wines arriving direct from the domaine. Situated in Chassagne-Montrachet in the south of the Cote d'Or, Chateau de la Maltroye has been a family property since 1939. It is easily recognizable by its 18th century, glazed tile roof. The vineyard encompasses over 32 acres in Chassagne-Montrachet and 5 acres in Santenay.
