Tasting notes

This is also quite cool with its elegant and admirably pure aromas of white flowers, Granny Smith apples and variety of citrus nuances. The delicious, intense and beautifully detailed middle weight flavors ooze an almost pungent minerality on the chiseled, youthfully austere, focused and super-clean finale where a touch of bitter lemon rind slowly appears. This is excellent and should reward up to a decade of cellaring. Worth checking out. 92/2028+

We have an outstanding selection of Chateau de la Maltroye wines arriving direct from the domaine. Situated in Chassagne-Montrachet in the south of the Cote d'Or, Chateau de la Maltroye has been a family property since 1939. It is easily recognizable by its 18th century, glazed tile roof. The vineyard encompasses over 32 acres in Chassagne-Montrachet and 5 acres in Santenay.
