2013 Domaine des Lambrays Clos du Cailleret, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru, France 750ml

Here there is no reductive funk as the elegant citrus-infused nose displays additional notes of floral and white orchard fruit scents. The medium-bodied flavors are not quite as concentrated or rich as those of the Folatières but there is more minerality and verve that adds considerably to the appeal of the clean, dry and well-balanced finish. This sophisticated and very pretty effort should also reward 5 to 8 years of cellaring.
