Fine Wines International offers an impressive portfolio of white and red wines sourced directly from producers in France.
We taste hundreds of French wines a year during our numerous trips to France. We have selected to work with meticulous wineries that produce high quality, delicious wines that express the unique nuances of the exceptional vineyards, which produce some of the most sought after wines in the world.
These have been purchased directly from the producer, breaking down distribution barriers and ensuring you, the consumer, get the lowest possible price.
The vast majority of the Bordeaux wines in our inventory, have been sourced through négociants, the agents for the Chateaux.
We have recently expanded our direct imports to Champagne and the Loire Valley, and have greatly expanded our imports of white and red Burgundy.
From Champagne we are now direct importing Guy Charlemagne Champagne, a top producer with a longstanding track record of very high quality. Philippe Charlemagne was recently recognized by President Macron himself for 4 years of consistent quality for his Champagne, something he is very proud of.
From Guy Charlemagne we are offering the Brut Nature, the Brut Classic, the Brut Reserve Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, the Brut Rose, the 2013 Les Coulmets Cuvee Charlemagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, and the 2012 Le Mesnillesime Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs.
In addition to regular sized bottles, we have a very nice selection of large formats.
We are also delighted to introduce two producers from the Loire Valley to our direct import program, Roget Naudet Domaine des Buissones, and Domaine Regis Jouan. We offer a delicious Sancerre blanc from each of these producers, as well as a crisp Menetou Salon from Regis Jouan, one of my favorite bistro wines from when I lived in France.
White and Red Burgundy is our bread and butter.
We have significantly expanded our portfolio of direct import white Burgundies, offering a nice selection of wines from Domaine Tremblay in Chablis, Domaine Rapet from Corton and Pernand Vergellesses.
We offer a great selection of Meursault from Michel Bouzereau, Jean Fery, Sylvian Dussort, Potinet Ampeau, and Gilles Lafouge,
Chassagne Montrachet is well represented by Chateau de la Maltroye.
We have greatly increased our inventory of Puligny Montrachet from Jean Fery, Jean Pascal, Paul Pernot and Pernot Belicard, and we have expanded our offering of Burgundy whites to include more tasty wines from Santenay and Saint Aubin.
We offer less expensive but delicious village wines, as well as a nice selection Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines.
Domaine Camus is the largest land holder of Grand Cru vineyards in Gevrey Chambertin. We are able to offer a number of Grand Cru wines from Camus at under $100, which is a bit of a miracle in today’s world.
We have sourced an excellent Fixin 1er Cru From the Clos de la Perriere vineyard just north of Gevrey Chambertin, a mystical vineyard on the top of the hill that has been producing desirable wines for over 800 years!
We have also been fortunate to source a number of aged, ready to drink wines the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s from Domaine Camus, Domaine Henri et Gilles Remoriquet, Domaine Louis Remy, and Potinet Ampeau to make a few, wines which had never left the Domaine and in pristine condition.
All of these wines have in common an extremely attractive relative price because we have purchased them directly, eliminating any other middle man that usually drives prices higher.
These producers also have in common the fact that they own the vineyards for the wine they produce. Work in the vineyard is of paramount importance to ensure the best possible wine.
These producers all farm in a sustainable way, some are certified organic.
For the most part there is a relative limited use of new oak, preferring to let the vineyard express itself as much as possible.
These wines can be purchased by the bottle or by the case.
