Clear dense purple. The nose is tighter than the Vieilles Vignes cuvée, with more in reserve, even some light blackcurrant notes. The wine has concentration and length, dark fruit style, the tannins are present but a silent partner, the Morey St-Denis influence in play. Properly persistent. Tasted: November 2020
