A ripe, fresh and well-layered nose consists of notes of apple, white peach, floral and a whisper of petrol character, all of which are also trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The rich medium-bodied flavors possess good volume as well as a taut muscularity and power that build from the mid-palate to the citrus-tinged finish. This clean and notably dry effort is a Bâtard of refinement rather than massive size and weight.
