Clos des Issarts is a Faiveley monopole, well-placed next to the higher part of Ruchottes-Chambertin on two separate terraces. It's another impressive 2017 from a cooler premier cru, with subtle reduction, some underlying grip and lots of scented red cherry and pomegranate fruit complemented by 40% new wood.
