A more complex and equally pretty blend of spice, red and blue pinot fruit and a whiff of wet stone are trimmed in just the barest hint of oak. There is again good volume to the succulent but decidedly punchy broad-shouldered flavors that also conclude in a youthfully austere finish that is also a bit on the lean side. The tannins appear to be ripe so my sense is that the recent sulfur addition comes into play here.
