A slightly cooler and spicier nose combines notes of both red and dark berries cut with hints of plum, earth and a whiff of the sauvage. There is good power and punch to the sleek bigger-bodied flavors that conclude in a slightly lean and youthfully austere finish. Note that my rating offers the benefit of the doubt that this will flesh out once the sulfur addition from the recent bottling is integrated.
