As is usually the case, this is aromatically more elegant with its cool, airy and layered nose of mostly essence of red cherry and a mix of spice elements. The succulent, delicious and nicely textured medium-bodied flavors possess excellent punch while concluding in a lightly austere and mineral-driven if somewhat drying finale. Once again, the tannins do seem ripe so the dryness is very probably allied to the recent bottling and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt.
