Notes of smoky reduction are enough to push the underlying fruit to the background at present. More interesting are the nicely concentrated, succulent, round and delicious middle weight flavors that terminate in a clean and dry finish. This sneaky long effort could use better depth, but the potential development curve is sufficiently distant that more should reasonably develop. Worth considering provided you're willing to allow it a few years of cellar time.
