An equally ripe yet slightly fresher nose blends notes of spice, pepper and earth with those of red currant, plum and a very subtle suggestion of wood. There is even better verve to the seductively textured, if not especially dense, medium-bodied flavors that possess evident minerality, all wrapped in sappy, lingering, dusty and youthfully austere finish that is the most structured in the range. Excellent with fine development potential.
