Jasper Morris 91-94
The oldest vines date back to 1902 and 1903 in Les Athées but with replacements of course. Dense black purple. The nose is heady but balanced, then the fruit explodes on the second half of the palate, really racy, the tannins are ripe, fruit is at optimum ripeness, but there is still good acidity too. Chapeau. Tasted: November 2020
