Here the beautifully layered nose of both red and dark berry fruit, spice, earth and floral scents is not quite as ripe but it's a good deal more complex and elegant. There is more evident minerality present on the powerful yet refined medium weight flavors that possess lovely delineation before culminating in a focused, serious and strikingly persistent finish. This too is going to require at least a few years of bottle age to develop better depth and should reward up to a decade. Recommended provided that you have the patience to cellar it.
