The 2011 Pinot Noir Clos Platt is dazzling. Sweet, perfumed red berries and dried rose petals all waft in the glass. This is a decidedly elegant, polished wine considering it is made from the Calera clones, which tends to yield much bigger wines. A subtle, intense perfumed Pinot, the Platt is simply stunning. All the elements are nicely balanced in this harmonious, textured wine.
