Here the wood is more completely integrated though not invisible with a pretty nose of mostly red pinot fruit and discreet earth aromas where the earth can also be found on the detailed and silky-textured medium-bodied flavors that possess good vibrancy and lovely mouth feel on the lingering finish. This is essentially a wine of finesse and while a bit atypical, it is really quite attractive. Outstanding
