A new offering, the 2002 Syrah Zio Tony Ranch (130 cases) is structured and delineated, it possesses extravagant, flamboyant quantities of blueberry and blackberry liqueur intermixed with creosote, graphite, and smoke. This dense, full-bodied, viscous Syrah is more closed and less evolved than the Hop Barn Hill, but remains an amazing wine.
